Madrid is our home, and it's the trip we love designing the most. You tee off with the Guadarrama mountains in the distance, and twenty minutes later you're in the middle of a city that takes lunch, dinner and the evening in between very seriously.
It's the perfect choice for groups who want golf and a proper city break in the same week. We plan the tournament, the courses and the tables, so all you need to bring is your clubs.
On the course
San Lorenzo de El Escorial
Mountain views and the monastery of El Escorial behind the greens, about an hour from Madrid. A memorable setting for the final round.
Mirasierra, Madrid
The home course of the Spanish Golf Federation, 13 km from the centre and set up to championship standard.
Vicálvaro, Madrid
Quick to reach from the city and friendly for all levels, a good opening round while the group finds its swing.
Segovia
Rolling countryside with views of Segovia, perfect for combining a round with roast suckling pig and the Roman aqueduct.
Course availability for groups changes by season. We confirm every tee time before you book.
When to go
April to June and September to October are ideal: sunny, dry and comfortable for walking 18 holes.
July and August are very hot in the afternoon, so we play early. Winter days are often sunny but mornings can be cold, especially in December and January.
How long
A typical Madrid trip is 3 to 4 nights with 3 rounds of golf.
Many groups add a day for Toledo, Segovia or a wine region, or plan the trip around a Real Madrid or Atlético match.
Beyond the golf
A route through the old town bars on a Sunday, the way locals do it.
A tour of the Santiago Bernabéu or tickets for a match when the calendar allows.
Day trips to two of Spain's most beautiful historic cities, each about an hour away.
Ribera del Duero and the Madrid wineries are close enough for a tasting day.

Yes, Madrid combines quality courses close to the city with some of the best food and nightlife in Europe. It's ideal for groups who want golf and a city break in the same trip.
Most courses we use are between 15 and 30 minutes from the city centre. La Herrería in El Escorial and the Segovia courses are about an hour away.
The best months are April to June and September to October. Summer afternoons are very hot and winter mornings can be cold, so we adjust tee times to the season.
Yes, we can plan the trip around a home match and include tickets when they are available. Fixtures are confirmed only a few weeks in advance, so we keep the itinerary flexible.
